A downloadable game

Medusa Head, a small indie game developer from Brazil, has just released a Windows playable demo for its horror-themed shmup "Hell Pages",  released on January 2021 for Windows PC (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1493590/Hell_Pages/), and with possible future releases on consoles, like Xbox One / Xbox Series X, PS4 / PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

With game mechanics inspired by epic shmups like Lords of Thunder (PC-ENGINE) and Thunder Force III (Megadrive), "Hell Pages" will have 10 stages with plenty of action, honoring horror movies from the 80s and 90s.

In "Hell Pages", we control a mythological demon named Bael. After a seal that protected the Earth against evil forces is broken, 10 demon armies take over our planet. As soon as the whole mankind is subjugated, those 10 armies start a war among themselves, in order to decide who's going to be the supreme lord of Earth. Bael sets out on a lonely battle against his enemies, leaving behind a trail of blood and death.

Not bad, first time I saw I t I though, urg! what is this shit? But I gave It an oportunity, since I can judge a game by It´s graphics, I am and old one, I have an MSX since 1987, so played a lot.

Well, was worth It, not bad video game, it makes me play again and again for maybe half an hour, then I get bored and I change the game.

It has nice metal music.

It is a game that I have in my collection since maybe 5 months? Sometimes I see the icon and I don´t remember what game is, so I play It, and after I see It I remember, I will keep It in my library, occupy few megas and It´s not bad, It´s a challenge, I play It in normal mode.

Hi there, just played through your game, first off it looks nice and it controls well. However I wish there were options to control the sound, had to lower it manual through sound mixer. I also notice no matter what damaged the player took, the player would always die in 4 hits no more no less, if you're going to use this kind of health bar, it would be nice to see that reflected in the health bar with some kind of divider style. The magic spell is pretty awesome for killing all the enemies, but I noticed it didn't damage the boss at all, not sure if that's intended or not. I like the bullet hell style of game play but since it was so easy to die and you have to start from the beginning every time you die and since there were no health items at all in the level, I found myself hugging to the middle/right hiding until the blue bug came by to pick up a power up. Because every time you die, you have to go through the menu and start over no exceptions. It's a cool game and has potential, I look forward to seeing how it progresses, good luck.  🌮

Hi, there.

First of all, thank you for playing the demo and, specially, for all the really nice suggestions to improve the game.

I'm responsible for the music and SFX, and I've forwarded your message to our programmer. As soon as I've got some news from him regarding your remarks, I'll let you know.

All the best!
